3. Terminological Definition
Opening (closing) time: the opening (closing) coil is electrified as the starting point of timing, and the closing (closing) time of the dynamic and static contacts is just divided.
Same period: In the same phase, the difference between the maximum and minimum switching time.
Interphase synchronization: In three-phase, the difference between maximum and minimum switching time.
Average speed: In the process of switching off or closing, 10% of the total travel of the movable contacts is removed before and after switching off, and 80% of the total travel of the movable contacts is taken in the middle. The ratio of the travel of the movable contacts to the time is obtained.
Maximum speed: In the process of switching on or off, after the moving contact starts to move, the moving contact is taken as a speed unit every 10 ms until the movement of the moving contact stops, and a number of speed units are obtained. The maximum unit speed value is the maximum speed of switching on or off.
Rigid minute (close) speed: According to the manufacturer of the switch under test and the type of switch, each manufacturer defines different rigid minute and close speed. This tester includes different definitions for users to choose.
