    A method of testing grounding resistance by using existing telephone lines

    Domain of inventions

    The general method of the invention is to test / measure the grounding resistance, and to reduce or eliminate the need to place movable ground wood piles.



    Background of invention

    The ground tester is a device used to measure buried grounding rods or electrode grounding resistance. The correct grounding is necessary for many industries and applications and grounding proposals and practices, such as NEC (National Electrical regulations), OSHA, ANSI and TIA (Telecommunications Industry Association), IEEE, and many other organizations.


    Grounding is used to provide ground connection from electronic and power supply. Grounding, fault, lightning, electromagnetic interference, radio frequency interference and other interference protection. Bad earthing can lead to injuries or deaths of people, animals and plants. It can also cause damage, poor operation, or malfunction of operating equipment and electronic products.



    The description of the existing technology

    At present, ground test measurements use the grounding and grounding resistance between the potential methods of falling. The fall's potential method requires three connections. The first connection to the ground is tested, and the second and third are connected to the ground to be placed at a distance from the ground to test the two bets.


    In the execution of this method, its typical connection disconnects the ground, that is, the building, the equipment, and it is usually connected to other devices. The first (near) stock, then placed on the ground, from the distance from the earth. Second (far) shares other than the first equity between the ground and the second (far) shares, the equity is directly placed on the ground. Next, a signal is used to respect the second share of the earth. The first share is respecting the voltage drop of geodetic measurements, that is, "potential fall". Since a known current signal is known, the equity and grounding resistance between the earth can be determined. If the grounding resistance is within the allowable range, action can be taken to correct the problem. In order to accurately measure the grounding resistance, it is very important to use this method for the proper placement of the first and second interests. For example, it is important that the first share is sufficient from the earth ground and second of the shares, so as not to be affected by the grounding and the interval of second shares. However, one problem may get access to the first and second bets straight in the tested grounding. For example, in urban areas, usually located in the location of roads, buildings or other obstacles, the first and second interests need to be placed to prevent them from being placed at the right place. In other cases, it may be placed in the first (near) stock, but it is impossible to place second (far) shares.

    A detailed description of the embodiment of the images and texts

    Though the invention may be embodied in different forms and displayed on the drawing, this article will introduce and understand in detail. The concrete embodiment of the present disclosure is regarded as an example of the principle of inventions, and there is no intention to restrict the description mentioned in the invention.


    The present invention discloses a ground test method for the telephone communication system and the removal of the location of the first and second wooden piles by using an existing telephone line. Resettlement second shares (far) in the first method, only a single stock right that needs to be used is eliminated. In the second approach, the placement of the first (nearby) shares is eliminated, and the placement of second (far) shares is eliminated, leading to a risk - free method.


    The first method is to measure the grounding resistance, the electrical system, including a pair of existing telephone lines, and the 10 diagram of the grounding resistance tester. 1-3.
