1. In order to protect the equipment and personal safety, please read the instructions carefully before the test and operate strictly according to the instructions.
2. Participants must prepare well for the experiment, including understanding the subjects, test equipment, test standards, test methods, measurement methods and so on.
3. The staff who use this instrument must be professionals who have "high-pressure test certificate".
4. If the "LOW BAT" is displayed on the high voltage shielded microampere, please replace the 9V battery to avoid measurement error.
5. For temporary field tests, fences marked "high-pressure danger, do not approach" should be set up. The necessary interlocking device should also be installed in the fixed high-pressure test area.
6. During the test, the operator should reserve enough safe operating distance (less than 20 KV per meter in air).
7. Before the test, please check whether the grounding wires of the main machine, the pressure multiplier and the test products are well connected. The grounding wires of the test circuit should be grounded at one point according to the requirements of this instruction.
8. When conducting capacitive load test, the current limiting resistor must be connected.
9. Discharge of large capacitance specimens should be discharged by 100_/V discharge resistance rod. When discharging, the discharging rod should not contact the specimens immediately. The discharging rod should be gradually approached to the specimens until a certain distance from the air gap to start free discharging with a hissing sound. When there is no sound, the discharge rod can be used to discharge, and the ground wire can be connected directly to discharge.
10. After the test, the grounding wire must be hung to the high-voltage output terminal to remove the high-voltage lead.
11. When there is a stain on the surface of the insulating cylinder of the pressure multiplier, please wipe it with a dry cloth. When transporting or not using the pressure multiplier, please put it in the box.
12. The working and storage places of the device shall be free from other explosive and corrosive media that seriously affect the insulation of gases, steam and chemical dust in Egypt.
Do not place the instrument on an unstable platform or desktop to prevent it from falling and being damaged.
14. If the instrument is not used for a long time, please keep it in a dry and ventilated place and electrify it once a month.
