VIDEO CONTENTS
1. Preparations before measurement:Firstly, the power and ground wires are reliably connected to the DC resistor, then the random test wires are connected to the input and output terminals corresponding to the color of the panel of the DC resistor. The test clamps at the end of the test wires are clamped to the windings of the transformer to be tested, and the contact points are friction by force to ensure good contact.Turn on the power switch and the DC resistor provides several different measuring currents. You can select them by pressing the and keys according to your needs. Please pay attention to the maximum measuring range of each measuring current, so as not to appear that the DC resistance of the measured winding is larger than the maximum measuring range of the selected current, so that the measured current can not reach the predetermined value after the start of the measurement, leading to the DC resistor being in a waiting state for a long time. 。
The View key is used to view and print stored measurement data.
After choosing the measurement mode and current, press the "measurement" button to start the whole measurement process.
2. Start measuring:
After pressing the "measurement" key, the DC resistor begins to charge the winding under test. A charging progress bar will appear in the middle display area of the display. The upper part of the progress bar is the current value. Generally, when measuring the large inductance load, it takes a certain time for the current to reach stability, and the current value will rise from zero to the rated value.
Be careful:
If the charging progress bar stays at a certain current value for a long time and no longer increases, the current winding resistance may exceed the measurement range of the selected current, so that the current can not reach the predetermined value. Please press the "exit" button to exit the measurement, and then select a small current to try again.
When the current reaches the rated value, the charging ends and the direct resistance meter begins to sample and calculate the data. The display prompts "Please wait while you are measuring." After calculating, the measured resistance value will be displayed on the display screen. When the data is stable, the data can be stored by pressing the "Storage" key or printed by pressing the "Print" key.
Tips:
When printing data in the measurement state, the direct resistance meter does not end printing immediately after printing the current measurement results, but is in a waiting state, so that the next data can be printed continuously in the print report. Therefore, when measuring the tap resistance of on-load tap-changer transformer, after measuring a tap, it is not necessary to quit the measurement, switch directly to the next tap, and then refresh the data by pressing the "retest" key. When the data is stable, the data can be stored continuously by pressing the "storage" key or printed continuously by pressing the "print" key, so that all taps of the winding can be measured in turn.
When measuring no-load tap-changer, it is not allowed to switch the tap-changer directly. The tap-changer must quit the measuring state. Only after the discharge is completed can the tap-changer be switched!
3. End measurement:
After the measurement is completed, press the "exit" button to exit the measurement. If it is an inductive load, the direct resistance meter will automatically start discharging to the winding. The display indicates "discharging, please wait a minute", and a buzzing signal is issued. After the discharge indication disappears, the measurement wiring can be removed and the next winding can be tested.
Be careful:
It is forbidden to dismantle the measuring wiring during the measuring process or before the discharge indication disappears, so as not to endanger the safety of equipment and personnel because of the winding discharge.

INSTRUCTIONS
When the inductive load is measured, the test line can not be removed directly, so as not to endanger the safety of the tester and equipment because of the inductance discharge. The output end of the machine is provided with a discharge circuit. When the output is turned off, the inductance releases energy through the instrument. The test line must not be removed until the discharge indication has been completed.
For no-load tap-changer transformer, it is not allowed to switch tap-changer during measurement.
If the power supply is suddenly cut off during the measurement, this opportunity will automatically start discharging. Please do not dismantle the wiring immediately, and wait for at least 30 seconds before dismantling the wiring.
When measuring, other untested windings should not be grounded by short circuit, otherwise the magnetization process of transformer will be slowed down and the data stabilization time will be prolonged.
Check the power supply voltage before starting up: 220V + 10% 50Hz AC.
During the test, please make sure that the equipment under test has been cut off and disconnected from other live equipment.
The shell must be grounded reliably during the test.
No irrelevant items are allowed to be stacked on and around the equipment panel during the test.
When replacing safety pipes and fittings, please use the same model as this instrument.
This instrument should be moisture-proof and oil-proof.
